December

Our Annual Christmas Fair was held on Saturday, Dec. 8. There were many things to choose from, such as crafts, baked goods, handmade candies, knitted blankets, quilts and more. We once again had success with the Children's Room, where children were able to select gifts for their family on their own (well with the help of some friendly elves - our high school youth). There was picture-taking with Santa. Our raffle prizes included Kindles, Kerig coffee maker, wine basket, picnic basket and other great items. As usual, the Cafe offered a fine lunch faire.

Christmas was very nice this year. The Children's Christmas pageant was held on Sunday, Dec. 23 during the 10 AM service. We had the Silver Tea service - if you will - on Christmas Eve Day at 1 PM. The Holy Eucharist Rite II service was well attended. Many enjoyed the fellowship of the tea and cookies following the service, as well as the Turkey Dinners that were given out. Finally, many people worshipped and enjoyed the evening Festal Christmas service, held in the early evening.

September

Welcome Back Brunch began the new church year. A nice choice of brunch food, such as quiches, fruits, yogurts, and bagels, was enjoyed by everyone as we met in between our services to catch up with each other.

The following week we started the Church School year with a kid's version of a Welcome Back event. However quiche, fruits and bagels were replaced with Goldfish crackers, pretzels, fruit snacks and juices. The students, their parents and teachers had a fun 'meet and great' time!

June

Recognition Sunday as usual was held to honor adults and children alike who participated in our church year. Everyone enjoyed the Ice Cream Sundaes after the 10 AM service!

St. Anne's Strawberry Festival was successfully held on a sunny Saturday - after a week of rain - so it was nice to eat fresh strawberry shortcake as the sun shined on us all.

Our fellow parishioner, Pete Jeffrey, was ordained a deacon at the Cathedral in Boston. `

Unlike last year, there was no thunder and lightening to delay our Annual Golf Tournament, which again had a great turnout. Everyone involved enjoyed 9-holes of golf, a barbecue lunch, and raffle prizes.

May

At the beginning of the month, we celebrated the women in our parish by having a Special Ladies Luncheon after the 10 AM service.

Early Communion workshop and services were offered once again this year for the children and their families.

February

We had a 'Bring a Friend' Sunday, when each of us were asked to consider bringing someone to church and sharing our worship experience with them.

Lent began on the 22nd, and we again participated in the Ecumenical Lenten Lunch program, which is held at the First Congregational Church on Andover Road. The food for the first week was provided by the our own St. Elizabeth Guild.

Finally at the end of the month there was another Trivia Night at the church. The theme this time was Classic TV; all proceeds went towards helping send our youth to summer camp at the Barbara C. Harris Camp & Conference Center.

January The Annual Meeting was held on the 3rd weekend.
